Career’s Fair

Sentinel Kabitaka School hosts the Further Education and Careers Fair every two years – connecting over 1,500 students and a total 2,000 visitors with public and private sector organisations. The fair focuses on career guidance, allowing companies to engage students and promote their areas of specialisation. Exhibitors discuss various career options with the students in attendance and provide insights into the skills needed in their fields. The event features interactive workshops and informative sessions that equip students with essential knowledge about different career paths. Networking opportunities enable students to connect with industry professionals for valuable advice and insights.

This impactful event empowers students in the North-Western Province by offering career readiness resources and guidance, shaping their futures and helping them make informed career decisions.

Sentinel Kabitaka School offers an annual Work Experience programme for Year 11 students – providing them with invaluable real-world exposure. During this programme, students spend a week immersed in the working culture working at Kansanshi Mine where they are placed in various departments to gain insights into the mining industry and its diverse roles.

This hands-on experience helps students understand potential career paths and develop essential skills such as teamwork, communication and problem-solving. By interacting with industry professionals at Kansanshi Mine, students build valuable knowledge and begin to form a professional network for their future careers.

The world is appreciated through diversity and inclusion and the child develops well in a balanced society. Camping is an activity purposed to blend social, economic and educational activities in an outdoor setup. This includes problem solving tasks, team building and interactive social sessions.

Budding modern language enthusiasts can immerse themselves in French culture through the French Club, engaging in conversation practice and cultural events. Aspiring journalists and writers can hone their skills in the Press Club, reporting, editing and publishing school news and articles.
