Educore Services is seeking a suitably qualified, experienced, and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant.
The appointee will report to the Head of School and directly contribute to all areas of teaching at Sentinel Kalumbila School as well as add to the extra-curricular curriculum.

Main Purpose of the Job

To assist the teacher in providing students with an excellent educational experience at Sentinel Kalumbila School in accordance with the school’s curriculum. To work in conjunction with the teachers and add to the life of the school.

Qualifications Required

  • Teaching Qualifications
  • Minimum 5 O’ levels including Mathematics and English
  • Registration with the Teaching Council of Zambia (TCZ) and Valid Practising Licence
  • Minimum 2 years work experience in a school
  • Familiar with the Cambridge curriculum
  • Must have the skills of teaching children of various age groups

The successful candidate will possess the following key skills:

  • Able to handle students who are in the Early Years classes
  • Be patient and empathetic
  • Be creative and a team player
  • Good organisational skills
  • Good communication skills
  • Able to teach using the learning through play method
