Educore Services is seeking a suitably qualified, experienced, and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant.
The appointee will report to the Head of School and directly contribute to all areas of teaching at Sentinel Kalumbila School as well as add to the extra-curricular curriculum.

Main Purpose of the Job

To assist the teacher in providing students with an excellent educational experience at Sentinel Kalumbila School in accordance with the school’s curriculum. To work in conjunction with the teachers and add to the life of the school.

Qualifications Required

  • Diploma in Early Childhood Education
  • Minimum 5 O’ levels including Mathematics and English
  • Registration with the Teaching Council of Zambia (TCZ) and Valid Practising Licence
  • Police clearance certificate
  • Minimum 2 years work experience in Early Years
  • Familiar with the Cambridge curriculum
  • Must have the skills of teaching using the learning through play method

Key Skills

The successful candidate will possess the following key skills:

  • Able to handle students that are in the Early Years classes
  • Good typing skills
  • Good organisational skills
  • Good communication skills
  • Able to differentiate lessons according to ability groups
  • Able to teach phonics using a set curriculum
